After sailing for two days in the Bacardi Cup I was hooked on  racing a Star boat.  In August I picked up Tom Londrigans old Folli 8077 which is very similair to the Folli 8061 that I sailed in Miami last winter.  Brian Fatih came to Chicago to help train and we had two great days of sailing with Tom and his crew Stew Hall.  Sailing out of sheridan shores yacht club, we sailed in great conditions that ranged from light wind and flat seas to 15 knots and lake michigan chop.  We were able to line up with Tom, do some speed testing as well as do a few practice races and lots of practice starts.  I am looking forward to racing the North Americans in harbor springs.
