The GL 70 Stripes has clinched the season Championship after winning the last pionts event of the season, the Chicago Verve Cup.  Pied Piper had a very disappointing regatta.  Finishing 5th the teams worst finish in a course racing venue in over 2 years.  Our core team was pursuing many different sailing projects this summer and in the long run our preparation and preformance suffered.  Next year we will look to make some changes to the boat, the sails and the crew that will get us back on top and working towards the end goal of winning the season championship.  Nitemare finished 2nd for the season championship with Pied Piper in third.  The Class has enjoyed improved competition this year and we hope this trend continues into the 2009 season.
